Healing, Miracles

scene where boy walks up to the statue of Jesus feet and is healed.
Start cue: Steve Martin says no more miracles today and walks out.
End cue: after sister runs up and hugs him.
Alternatively use the scene where Steve Martin admits he is a fake faith healer because he has seen the young boy�s healing - the real thing. (Youth Alpha Australia)

Prayer

(I use this to show prayer's triumph over lies and deceit) Toward the end a crippled boy who has pleaded with the faith healer to be healed, calls on him again. Trying to avoid the confrontation, the Preacher tries to set the stage for the healing to fail. The boy's faith and belief as he takes the feet of the figure of Christ are strongly shown as he prays - and God's work His miracle on him - stunning the faith healer/con man (David Shivers)
