Good Will Hunting (1997)

The relationship between the professor and the custodian-student. Each is "shepherd" to the other.

Kolya (1996)

"Kolya is a story of the Shepherd who looks after his sheep, who tirelessly seeks them out when they are lost or have strayed, and leads them through dark and lonely places to bring them to dwell in his presence." (from the review at Hollywood Jesus)

Babe (1995)

Babe is the good shepherd figure. The sheep come to know his voice because he genuinely cares for them. He also takes time to learn their language. Christ seems to communicate thus to us, in languages and ways that are unique to us and in a genuine love for us. (Edie Bird/Mark Thomas)
