Starting with Lectionary Weeks:
When you click on a lectionary week (either a date or a liturgical description), you will go to a page with resources for that week. There you can find study links and worship/liturgy links for that day in general.
On that page also is a list of the lectionary scriptures. Clicking on any of these scriptures will take you to a page of links with resources for that scripture alone. There you will find direct links (for that particular pericope) to different translations, versions, commentary, references, and comparative texts (historical and contemporary). The vast majority of links and information at this site is found on these pages.
From most places in the site you can find links (in the left border) which will take you to calendar lists for each of the lectionary years, and links which will take you to general resources for the seasons in the liturgical year. These seasonal resource pages include general study and worship resources and links to online fine art images which illustrate that season's scriptures.
The purpose of this website is to provide study and liturgy links and resources that correspond to the RCL readings you may be using for study, teaching & preaching. The lectionary tables on this site are the easiest way I could think of to provide easy, lectionary-relevant access to study and liturgy resources. I am not attempting to provide calendars for official readings for any particular denomination. Please check your denominational sources for the official readings for any particular occasion. If/when you find any errors at The Text This Week, I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know about them.
Try the Art Concordance if you're looking for lists of artwork indexed according to Biblical themes, or find clip art at weekly pages or scripture-study pages. You can also find children's resources, hymn suggestions, etc, at weekly pages or at scripture-study pages.

Starting with the Scripture Index:
Clicking on individual books in the scripture index will take you to a list of lectionary pericopes for that particular book. (You'll notice that not all pericopes are listed - only those in the RCL - Sundays and a few extras.) Clicking on the names of books on this secondary page will take you to lists of resource links for these books, while clicking on a pericope listing will take you to a list of resources for that particular pericope.
