Prayers of the People- Blesssing

The Rev. Lowell Grisham
Rector, St. Paul's Episcopal Church
Fayetteville, Arkansas

Proper 29, Year C

May you be made strong with all the strength that comes from God's glorious power.

May you endure everything with patience, alive in Christ through whom all things have been created and in whom all things hold together.

May the Holy Spirit, who has rescued you from the power of darkness and transferred you into the kingdom of Christ, keep you in the inheritance of the saints in light.

And the blessing of our victorious God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, be with you and protect you, now and for ever.  Amen.

May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and minds.

May Christ, the bread of life which gives life to the world, nourish and strengthen you in abundant life.

May the Spirit guide you into an inheritance of goodness, gratefulness and generosity.

And the blessing of our abundant God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, rejoice your hearts and fill you with eternal thanksgiving.  Amen.
