 | The Tigger Movie (2000)
 | "In movie Tigger begins with his usual sentiment
-- "The wonderful thing about Tiggers is ... I'm the only
one." Early on in the movie as everyone else in the Hundred Acre
Wood is preparing for winter and doesn't have time to bounce with Tigger,
he begins to wish maybe he weren't the only one. A visit with Owl and
his talking about his family tree sets Tigger on a mission to find his
family tree and his family, people who will bounce with him. Little Roo
is the only one who is really concerned, even tells his mother, Kanga,
that he wants Tigger to be his older brother. After much futile
searching, Roo persuades the others to write Tigger a letter from his
family with advice and a word of concern for him. Tigger reads this as a
sign that they care coming to visit. The whole gang dress up as 'tiggers'
and arrive as his family. When he discovers it, Tigger believes they are
making fun of him and takes off to find his family tree and real family.
In the midst of a snow storm Tigger searches, the gang follow him. All
nearly die in an avalanche, Tigger rescues them, putting them in a large
tree he had decided was his family tree (it was striped from the snow).
Tigger gets carried away in the snow, Roo rescues him using a special
bounce that Tigger had taught him. When Tigger loses the letter from his
family, everyone is able to recite the portion they contributed to the
letter and Tigger realizes they ARE his family.". |
